Allows you to synthesise equipment characteristics without having to spend Spina or Orbs, You can select two of the same type of equipments to select the characteristics you want to keep or get rid of for the resulting equipment; the characteristics you can select are: Appearance (the base model of the weapon/armor/additionnal), Dyes (each dye slot represents one characteristic) and Stats (this includes ATK/DEF of the equipment, Stability of the weapon, the stats attached to that equipment, the number of slots the equipment has, the Crystas attached to said slots, the level of refine and the armor's remodel; you cannot select each of these individually), If left alone, the resulting equipment will have its characteristics selected at random between the two base equips; you can lock one base weapon's characteristic to ensure that the resulting equipment has it, You can lock 1 characteristic to start with; you gain extra locks by raising your Synthesis Proficiency Level (one at level 50, one at level 100, one at level 150 and the final one at level 200), On failure, some of the locks might not take effect, Technical Information(more detail in synthesis) The chances for success are calculated as follows:
