Demonic Pact

A contract with a demon. The ability changes based on the amount of MP offered when forming the contract. Each attack by the demon costs the caster some HP. Reusing the skill will terminate the contract. The demon may betray you if things turn bad.

Base Cast Time · How it scales

2 seconds -The number of Demon summoned in a party is limited to 1 Demon. -There is a chance to get stunned when aggro switches to you in a party. Stun Chance: (Character's HP% Missing^2/200)%. Demon's Attacks (Basic and Beam) Properties: -Each time your Demon attacks, you pay a certain amount of your HP (based on your Max HP, so Sacred Teachings is not included in the cost calculations, but can be used to pay HP). If you don't have enough HP to pay for the attacks, you will die. -Demon Beam Activation Rate: (5 + Summon MP Cost/100)%. Each Demon's Basic Attack doubles the chance (max 100%). Each Demon Beam halves the chance (no minimum). -Maximum Attack Range: 7m. -Unaffected by buffs: Twin Storm, Knife Combat, Shukuchi, Storm Reaper, Asura Aura. -Follows main weapon's element. -Unaffected by character's motion speed. -Affected by short/long range damage; not affected by whack/concentrate; not affected by Long Range Skill; uses and deals normal proration. Summon MP Cost HP Consumption: MAX(12% * Character's Max HP; 1200)Demonic Pact Settings Pact Count: Skill Level Mana Slash: Turns into a magic attack with extended range. [Cost: 1 Pact] Changes Demon's Attacks Damage Type to Magic Damage. Special traits like ATK+MATK usage and use/deals normal proration remains, but the remaining of damage calculation components like INT DTE, Magic Critical Rate/Damage, Magic Stability, Enemy's MDEF/M.res follows magic damage calculations. Doubles the Maximum Attack Range. Dark Strike: Interrupts the enemy and performs a powerful attack. [Cost: 2 Pacts] Demon will only and always perform "Demon Beam" when the target is interrupted by Flinch/Tumble/Stun. Hollow Strike: Becomes an attack with the element the enemy is weak to. [Cost: 2 Pacts] Demon's Basic Attack and Demon Beam becomes always stronger element against the enemy. Demon King Revelation: Adapts to action speed. [Cost: 4 Pacts] Demon's motion speed follows Character's motion speed. (Freeze and Paralyzed are excluded) Substitute Contract: Depending on the situation, you may survive. [Cost: 4 Pacts] Prevents you from dying if you take high damage or can't pay for Demon's Attacks. Desummons the demon (can't resummon) and restores HP. HP Restored: Character's Attack MP Recovery * MIN(Total Demon's Attacks During Summon;99) Activates before Saber Aura, after Magic Skin. Anchor of Life: HP consumption by the demon will not knock you out. [Cost: 1 Pact] When you have not enough HP to pay for Demon's Attacks, you are left with 1 HP while the Demon continues to attack the enemy. Everytime the Demon attacks, it's damage Multiplier and Constant drops by 200 initial Summon MP Cost (stops dropping once it is left with 100 Summon MP Cost). Activates before "Substitute Contract". Blood Contract: Reduces MP, but reduces Max HP. [Cost: 2 Pacts] Restores half of Summon MP Cost without reducing Demon's Attacks Damage.

Note

Selecting multiple barrier pacts will activate the best effects only. Example: Activates Demonic Barrier, Barrier Expansion, Spirit Distortion.. Range: 21m from demon Reduces Magical, Physical, and Fractional Damage Doubles Damage Reduction.
